“Watch Me Win…..Watch Me Strut” was the call from race caller Robert Geller as Watch Me Strut made a dramatic last to first run to win the seventh race Allowance in style today at Woodbine.
Owned in partnership by George Ledson and trainer Catherine Day Phillips’ Kingfield Racing Stable, the 3 year-old gelding by Strut the Stage – Fleet Kris, by Northern Afleet was bred in Ontario by Frank Mermenstein & Sam-Son Farm, Stallion Division.
This is the third win for Watch Me Strut who had two wins and a third in his 3 starts as a two year old last year for Kingfield Racing Stable before George Ledson joined as a partner on the horse in 2017.
