It was a pair of wins for trainer Catherine Day Phillips today at Woodbine. Five year old gelding Holyfield notched his first win of 2022 by staying near the lead for most of the 1-1/16 mile Optional Claiming race today at Woodbine.  Young Apprentice Jockey Slade Jones asked for more in the stretch and Holyfield drew away from the field to win by 5-1/2 lengths at the wire.
