Anderson Farms Ontario Inc. bred and owned filly, Katie Baby, made every pole a winning one in a $67,500 Allowance today at Woodbine.
The Ontario-bred 4 year-old by Curlin – By Golly Mis Molly (Vindication) trained by Catherine Day Phillips was the winner by 5 lengths in her 2019 season debut with jockey Eurico Rosa da Silva aboard.
The win came after a long layoff for the filly whose last race was the Bison City Stakes on July 1 last year when she finished a valiant third.
This is her second career win with one second and the above mentioned third with earnings totalling more than $200,000 in purses and bonuses.
