Two Anderson Farms Ontario Inc. owned fillies, Mexican Hat, owned in partnership with Narola, LLC and Dreams Are Free provided David Anderson with a second and a win with trainer Catherine Day Phillips today at Woodbine.
Dreams Are Free was claimed for $40,000 last time out by Anderson Farms Ontario Inc. when the 3 year-old filly by Bellamy Road – Off Limits finished second on August 1 at Woodbine. Today running for the first time for her new connections, the filly, ridden by Emma-Jayne Wilson, was a winner by a length in a $61,000 Allowance going 1-1/16 miles in race 10 at Woodbine.
Earlier in race 8, Mexican Hat, who was purchased from France by Anderson Farms Ontario Inc. in partnership with Narola LLC, was coming off of a third place finish in the Belle Mahone Stakes on September 9, finished a strong second in Race 8 today with Jockey Emma-Jayne Wilson, in an Allowance Optional Claiming for $62,500.
