JAMBALAYA inducted into Hall of Fame

Multiple Graded Stakes winner, Jambalaya, was inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame in 2012.

Owned by Kingfield Racing Stable Ltd, and trained by Catherine Day Phillips, Jambalaya won the Breeders’ Stakes at Woodbine and the GIII Saranac S. at Saratoga at three, and he won the Singspiel S. at Woodbine at four. However, it was as a five year old, in 2007, that Jambalaya shone even brighter. The gelded son Langfuhr won a pair of Stakes at Gulfstream Park; the GI Gulfstream Park Breeders’ Cup Turf , and the GIII Pan American Handicap. That summer, he topped it all off with a victory in the GI Arlington Million (pictured above).  More photos
